PROJECT WORK for Class - 8 and 9

You are requested to do any one of the following project:

Project No. -1
Collection of Endoparasite/ Internal Organs/ Specimen :
During this long vacation, you can utilize your leisure time by doing the above mentioned project.

• Collect   Endoparasite/ Internal Organs/ Specimen carefully with the help of your Guardians/ Parents.
• Wash it thoroughly in  clean water.
• Take a wide-mouth bottle and fill it with alcohol up to 2/3 part.
• Now, put the collected materials in bottle such that it gets immersed completely in alcohol.
• Close mouth of bottle tightly with its cap.

Note: Here, Endoparasite- tapeworm, liver fluke, roundworm, hookworm etc. ; 

                     Internal Organs - Eye, Heart, Liver, Lungs etc. ; 

                     Specimen - Earthworm, Small fish, Frog, Lizard, Cockroach, Silver fish etc.

Project No. -2

Herbarium Collection:

•  Collect different types of leaves/ roots  ( at least 5) of plants  carefully with the help of your Guardians/ Parents.
• Keep these collected materials in the middle of page of thick book one by one at least for a week.
• Now, take it carefully and paste on A4 Size paper one by one.
• Finally, make a booklet of your Herbarium Collection.

Project No. -3

Collection of Skeleton:

If you are interested in this project, you can bring the specimen like fish, chicken, lizard, frog etc. whose skeleton you want to collect, on the day when school resumes after Dashain Vacation. Then, you can do rest of the steps in lab.
